Welcome to Sacred Heart's Technology Home Page. Here you will find links to many website activities. I have created pages based on the skills that are being developed. To access these pages simply click on the skill you would like to practice, for example keyboarding, and you will be taken to a page with links to many different games. These are all sites that are free and can be practiced anywhere you have Internet access.
Lessons for the week VPK Begin by completing a 12 piece jigsaw puzzle for Summer. Show me the completed puzzle. You may then choose any of the games on ABCya! to work on your problem solving skills. Kindergarten You will begin with keyboard practice by completing Krazy Keyz on the ABC mode. After you have reported your score challenge yourself by completing a 12 piece jigsaw puzzle for Summer. Show me the completed puzzle. 1st Grade You will begin with keyboarding practice utilizing Learn To Type. Do the 1st exercise on Level 2. Report to me your WPM and Accuracy % when you are finished. Keep in mind that accuracy goal should be 91% and above. Keep two hands on the keyboard. This exercise only uses the home row keys. After you have reported your score challenge yourself by completing a 25 piece jigsaw puzzle for Summer. Show me the completed puzzle. After you have completed the two activities you may work on problem solving skills using any of the games on ABCya! from GRADES K-2. 2nd Grade You will begin with keyboarding practice utilizing Learn To Type. Do the 2 exercises on Level 4. Report to me your WPM and Accuracy % when you are finished. Keep in mind that accuracy must be 91% and above to proceed to the next exercise. After you have reported your score, you will complete 30 piece jigsaw puzzle of the possible new school logo. We will be continuing with Microsoft Excel and creating a game using it once everyone is ready. In the meantime, continue having fun with jigsaw puzzles. | of May 13th 3rd - 4th Grade You will begin with keyboarding practice utilizing Learn To Type. Do the 3 exercises on Level 8. Report to me your WPM and Accuracy % when you are finished. Keep in mind that accuracy must be 91% and above to proceed to the next exercise.
